Guangzhou China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd.

Guangzhou China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd. was established in January 2006. It is a wholly-owned project company of China Resources Power with a registered capital of RMB 1.1 billion. The company is located in Nansha District, Guangzhou, in the geometric center of the Pearl River Delta and the power load center. It is one of the backbone power points of the Guangdong Power Grid. The company constructed 2×180MW gas-fired cogeneration units in the first phase of the project. The two units were put into operation in July and August 2007 and decommissioned in June 2010. Unit 1 was relocated to Lhasa, Tibet as a Tibet aid project. The second phase of the construction of 2×300MW domestic subcritical coal-fired cogeneration units was started in August 2008, and the two units were put into operation on October 9 and December 1, 2009, with a complete construction period of only 15 months. In 13 days, it created a record of the short construction period of the same type of cogeneration unit in the coastal area.

In the 110kV cable test project of Guangzhou China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd. in June last year, Guangzhou China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd. purchased Wuhan Yueneng Gaoce Power Equipment Co., Ltd. after strict technical checks and screening at more than a dozen series resonant manufacturers. In August 2017, Gong Zhang and Gong Zhou of Wuhan Yueneng Gaoce Power Equipment Co., Ltd. went to Guangzhou China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd. to carry out a special test of the 110kV cable withstand voltage of the YNXZ-675kVA/270kV series resonance test device.

First, a withstand voltage test of a 35Kv cable was done. The cable is 1000m, and the interface is connected to 300mm. We use 2 reactors to 52Kv. We easily found the resonance point in the range of resonance frequency of 30-300Hz. It was already dark at this time, and we decided to do the second test tomorrow.
